L&R Group of Companies Expands to include Sports and Entertainment Venue in Washington D.C.

Los Angeles, CA & Cleveland, OH (April 16, 2009) – The L&R Group of Companies, (“L&R”) began operations this week in Washington D.C. with three (3) surface lots that service Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals. Nationals Park is located in southeast Washington, along the rapidly developing Capital Riverfront, a new mixed use facility. L&R’s exclusive partnership with Forest City Enterprises, allows Network Parking, an L&R subsidiary, to manage these lots in the evenings to capture the market share of visitors and season ticket holders to Nationals Park. The expansion of the Capital Riverfront makes these parking facilities strategically located to service other entertainment activities including restaurants and shopping. Network Parking will manage over 800 spaces during the 80 home games this season and adds to its existing portfolio of parking facilities that serve some our country’s most visible and popular entertainment centers. Currently, L&R owns or manages parking facilities that serve high profile venues that include (in Los Angeles) Staples Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Memorial Coliseum, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Redondo Beach Pier, (in Chicago) Millennium Park, (in San Diego) Petco Park, and the Gas Lamp District, the Cruise Ship Terminal, and (in Cleveland) The Quicken Arena, and Jacobs Field.
